We know just what you’re thinking: You’ve been out on the town, hitting the bars, maybe even playing a round or two of Quizzo along the way.

But you’ve been lacking in culture department.

Thank goodness you’re in a city that’s home to one of the country’s best universities, huh? The University of Pennsylvania frequently hosts lectures by some of the world’s top talent, and Thursday, Jan. 22’s address promises to make up for the rather shallow existence you’ve been living lately: World-renowned photographer Amy Stein will stop by.

Stein will discuss her “Domesticated” series, a large-scale series of color photographs that depict human-animal interaction, which is on display at the Print Center (1614 Latimer St.), as well as her upcoming collection “Stranded,” a series of portraits of people captured alongside their broken-down cars.

The lecture is free, open to the public, and begins at 5:30 p.m. Just stop Penn’s Meyerson Hall (210. S. 34th St.).
