This is not the kind of case you normally see in court.

Authorities say a woman believed to be drunk showed up at a Pittsburgh court house with a case of beer.

WPXI-TV reports that the woman, whose name hasn't been released, was slurring her speech and carrying an open case of Big City Ice beer.

After a few minutes of questioning Thursday, deputies said they realized the woman was highly intoxicated and had no reason for being in the building.

They said she even offered the deputies a beer as long as she could keep the rest for herself.

Police said the beer was seized and poured down a drain. She was then escorted off of the property.
