Subtle Change to New Sixers' Jerseys Has Fans Seeing Red

The Sixers unveiled two of their new Nike uniforms for the 2017-2018 season and they're very similar to last year's Adidas jerseys but some fans are seeing red.

In addition to the StubHub sponsorship patch on the jersey, there were a few other changes.

"Brotherly Love" is embroidered on the lower left hem in gold lettering which is a welcomed addition.

It was the red drop shadow to the white letters and numbers on the front of the jersey that some fans aren't in love with.

Surprisingly, more people seemed upset with the red drop shaddow than with the addition of a sponsor to an iconic jersey.

My personal take? I don't hate the red drop shaddow but I do think I prefered the previous jersey with the all white number/lettering sans the red behind it.

If you aren't in love with either of today's looks, the team will unveil two more jerseys at a later date.
