Ron Hextall said the Flyers wanted to keep Radko Gudas long term.
They got it done Thursday night.
Gudas, who was a pending restricted free agent, has signed a multi-year extension with the Flyers.
According to a report by TSN's Bob McKenzie, the deal is for four years with an annual salary in the range of $3 to $3.5 million.
