Michael Bennett's Court Date Has Been Pushed for a Sixth Time

Michael Bennett's most recent court date was pushed yet again.

There was a scheduled court date (for which he didn't need to appear) for the Eagles' defensive end on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for that felony injury to the elderly charge in Houston.

But the court date has been reset for Nov. 28, Bennett's attorney Rusty Hardin told NBC Sports Philadelphia.

This is the sixth time a court date for this case has been rescheduled.

The new date comes three days after the Eagles' Week 12 game against the Giants at the Linc.

Bennett, 32, is facing a felony charge for allegedly pushing and injuring an elderly paraplegic woman who was working at Super Bowl LI in Houston as he tried to make his way on the field to celebrate with his brother Martellus.

Hardin has been adamant that his client is guilty of no wrongdoing.
