OK, now they're just playing with us.
On Sunday night, just as some football game that no one cared about was ending, MLB's biggest free agent Bryce Harper tweeted out just one interesting word.

Honestly, we have no idea what this means. Based on some of the replies, the cryptic message had fans refreshing their Twitter feeds as they begged for a decision, at long last.
Maybe it means a decision is coming, maybe it doesn't, since free agency has been loading for quite some time now. However, what is interesting is what Rhys Hoskins posted on Instagram on Dec. 28.

Hoskins posted this in December, but the similar captions can't help but get our minds racing as we anxiously await Harper's decision. Hoskins also retweeted Harper's "loading…" post, which further incites our stress over the free agent's cryptic message.
The pair have been linked before, as they share the same agent in Scott Boras and were spotted hanging out on the field during a delay in play at Citizens Bank Park last summer.

That being said, it's possible that there is quite literally zero meaning behind this and it's a simple accident in captions. But, at this point, we're taking any and all positive signs that Harper will sign in Philadelphia.
Please Harper, for our sake, just make a decision so we can stop overanalyzing this.
