Julie and Zach Ertz are pretty much the First Couple of Philadelphia at this point.
Julie and her U.S. Women's National Team won the World Cup over the weekend in France in impressive fashion and captured the hearts of America along the way. The squad is currently riding on floats up in New York City for a ticker tape parade to share the victory with fans. But before Julie switched into party mode, she visited the folks at Good Morning Football to talk about the wild experience.
Eagles fans will recognize a familiar face on the show in Kyle Brandt. He became one of the Birds' biggest cheerleaders on their magical Super Bowl run a couple of seasons ago.
Zach also surprised his wife by making an appearance on the show via Skype -- talk about a house with an amazing trophy case.
"I couldn't believe that our schedules aligned," Julie said of having Zach watch her win in France. "He was able to be there from the second game [of the tournament] on, which is insane. "Honestly, it was really emotional. I never really got the chance in such a big tournament to turn to the stands and see Zach. And they gave family seats that were right there, row 1, I got to see him during the national athem, I'm already emotional and then seeing him, my best friend, my number one supporter, I couldn't do what I do without him."
"It was so much motivation. I was like, 'NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE WINNING BECAUSE MY HUSBAND'S [HERE].'"

Let's just say it was a wild experience for the whole Ertz family.
"It was crazy," Zach said of watching his wife win the World Cup in person in France. "Obviously I've seen the work that Julie and all these girls have done for the past four years. Our schedules rarely line up. I'll have a bye week during the year and I'll fly to Canada to watch a soccer game instead of being on vacation. I thought she played unbelievable the entire tournament. The way she dominated on the pitch was so fun to watch and I was just so proud of her."
"This trophy room at your house has to be massive. You have a Super Bowl title, two World Cups and that's just the beginning of it."@julieertz and @ZERTZ_86 are killing the game together.

Julie also spoke about using adversity as the greatest motivator.
