Hakim Laws went viral Monday.
NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark caught up with the former Philadelphia firefighter and Army veteran now known for saving children and roasting Nelson Agholor.
"You can believe in me," Laws said, recounting his thoughts as he was helping with the rescue effort at a fire in Philadelphia early Monday morning. "I'm not going to drop them. My first thought in the back of my head, actually was, ‘Yeah, don't fumble.' So I caught two and then ran ‘em in for a touchdown."
Laws, who was caught off guard by the instant fame, knows he was the voice of Eagles fans everywhere.
"I think I probably connected because I said what everybody was thinking," he said.
