Eagles Sign CB Tay Glover-Wright to 1-year Contract

The Eagles have added another young and unproven corner to a secondary full of them.

On Monday, the Eagles signed 25-year-old Tay Glover-Wright to a one-year contract.

Glover-Wright, since graduating from Utah State in 2014, has spent time with the Falcons, Packers and Colts. He played in two games for the Colts in 2015. He spent some time last season on the Colts' practice squad.

Glover-Wright (6-0, 175) will have an uphill battle to make the roster, but cornerback is the probably the weakest position on the team. The Eagles released veteran cornerback Dwayne Gratz just before camp.

With the signing, the Eagles' roster is full at 90 players.

The Eagles needed to add another cornerback to training camp after undrafted corner Randall Goforth from UCLA tore his ACL last week.

Monday is an off day for the Eagles. They will resume training camp practice at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday and will have their first live periods (tackle to the ground) of the summer.
