Eagles Injury Update: Miles Sanders Returns to Practice, But Brandon Brooks Missing

After missing Wednesday with a shoulder injury, Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders returned to practice today and looked pretty good.

Doug Pederson said earlier in the week that Sanders would be fine; turns out he was right.

The only other difference in today's group at practice was the absence of right guard Brandon Brooks. He was not on the injury report Wednesday, so we'll find out why he was missing later in the day. Without Brooks, Halapoulivaati Vaitai worked at right guard.

At practice for the second straight day: DeSean Jackson (abdomen), Tim Jernigan (foot), Darren Sproles (quad), Avonte Maddox (concussion/neck) and Josh Sweat (ankle).

Of that group, Jackson, Jernigan and Sproles were limited on Wednesday. Maddox and Sweat were full participants.

Jackson, 32, has missed the last six games with an abdominal injury suffered in Week 2 against the Falcons. This week he returned to practice for the first time since that injury.

Meanwhile, Sproles has missed the last three games and Jernigan has missed the last six.
