Drivers in the Garden State can now emphatically declare if they are Giants or Eagles fans.
It couldn’t come soon enough considering the teams face off this Sunday.
On Tuesday Eagles OL Danny Watkins joined NJ Motor Vehicle Commission officials to show off the recently-released Eagles license plate. Watkins was even presented with his own personalized "Danny" plate.
The NJ MVC had already released NASCAR, hockey, baseball and basketball plates but now the NFL is on board as well. For $60 Eagles fans can make themselves stand out from those Jets and Giants fans in North Jersey.
Watkins was chosen in part because he recently moved to N.J., according to NJ MVC.
And I gotta say, It’s good to see Watkins -- the Eagles No. 1 pick -- is up to something besides hanging out on a water cooler on the Eagles sideline during games.
