Is the NBA Draft Lottery rigged? Conspiracy theorists just got some fodder if the Philadelphia 76ers end up winning the No. 1 overall pick in the coming draft on Tuesday night.
NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo sent out a tweet that congratulated the 76ers on winning the No. 1 pick in the draft at around 4:45 pm on Tuesday. Except the lottery hadn't even took place yet.
The tweet was deleted within minutes. But things live forever on the Internet.

Here's my guess on what happened. Deke or his people saw the Sixers' official account encouraging people to tweet using a #PHILAfirst hashtag (or was even asked nicely by the team) and misunderstood what it actually meant.
Probably an honest mistake but yikes it looked bad.
