Police in suburban Atlanta have found no evidence that all-time Eagles rushing leader LeSean McCoy, now with the Bills, was involved in an alleged home invasion involving his ex-girlfriend in July, according to ESPN.
The woman sued McCoy and a former college teammate recently claiming McCoy was in some way involved in a home invasion in July in Milton, Georgia, in which she was beaten and robbed.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, police in Milton have not discovered any evidence that would implicate McCoy in the attack.
Schefter's report also said NFL authorities who have been investigating the allegations are "not anywhere near" deciding to suspend McCoy under the league's personal conduct policy.
Schefter said the investigation into McCoy's alleged involvement in the incident remains open.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane said earlier this summer that team officials were "comfortable" that McCoy was not involved in the attack.
McCoy, recently named team captain by his Bills teammates, rushed for 6,792 yards and 44 touchdowns in his six seasons with the Eagles.

The Bills open the 2018 season at 1 p.m. Sunday against the Ravens in Baltimore. Both head coaches - Sean McDermott of the Bills and John Harbaugh of the Ravens - are former Eagles assistant coaches.
