Former Girlfriend Thinks LeSean McCoy May Have ‘set Up'

A couple days after LeSean McCoy adamantly denied allegations of domestic abuse, among other things, some more information has surfaced.

The former girlfriend of the NFL star and former Eagle told police she thought McCoy might have "set [her] up" during the home invasion that resulted in injuries serious enough to send her to the hospital, according to an event report released by the police department in Milton, Georgia, obtained by ESPN

There was a note in the report made 10 minutes after police were called to the suburban home: "The caller poss[ibly] thinks her ex boyfriend poss[ibly] set her up."

The other very interesting part of this particular report is that McCoy's former girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, said neighbors have cameras outside of the house. That could possibly provide some answers and eventually lead to a suspect.

Even more information came from previous incident reports involving McCoy, Cordon and the Georgia residence, that were also released by the police department Thursday.

This bit of a report from last July in another domestic dispute is especially interesting:

McCoy was very concerned that Cordon may try to either take things or make false accusations about him. He stated that he was trying to be very careful about being around here given the climate of domestic abuse in his profession.

Other reports came from this April and June as the ongoing saga between McCoy and Cordon continued. Both reports dealt with the removal of items from the residence. Neither involved any physical violence.
