No time for nostalgia

Brandon Graham admitted he'll probably take a quick moment before the game to appreciate being back in U.S. Bank Stadium, where the Eagles won Super Bowl LII, but that's as much nostalgia as anyone on the team has the stomach for. Sure, it'll be kind of cool to be back there for the first time since it rained green and white confetti, but the Eagles have a big game to worry about. If any players start to reminisce too much, they'll hurt their chances of that moment this year.

Start of a tough stretch

This is a tough game to start a bunch of tough games and the Eagles know it. Sure, they need to be focused on this game alone, but they realize the buzzsaw that they're about to walk into:

Week: 6: at Vikings
Week 7: at Cowboys
Week 8: at Bills
Week 9: vs. Bears
Week 10: BYE
Week 11: vs. Patriots
Week 12: vs. Seahawks

Offense needs to get going

Sure, the Eagles' defense looked great against the Jets, but their offense really struggled and there's plenty of concern about that going forward. Carson Wentz has played well but the Eagles are clearly missing DeSean Jackson as a deep threat. Without him, this offense has become too plodding and their receivers not named Alshon Jeffery haven't stepped up. It won't be easy against a good Vikings defense.
