Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden says he's looking forward to getting back to work and the campaign trail Saturday.
The Vice President's son, who is hospitalized at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital after suffering what a doctor described as a mild stroke, spoke by speakerphone to supporters at a fundraiser brunch. Vice President Joe Biden hosted the event at his family home in Greenville.
According to a pool report released by the White House, the vice president told the 150 people at the event that his son is “100 percent now” and “committed and excited about the next four years.”
Beau Biden joked that his wife threatened to have him handcuffed if he tried to escape, but he'll be home in a few days.
