"Some in Washington have actually condoned the pitting of Americans against Americans," he said at the Values Voters Summit in Washington. He was likely referring to Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who said "God bless them for their spontaneity." Republican candidate Mitt Romney has also accused the protesters of engaging in "class warfare" and rival Newt Gingrich called them "Obama demonstrations."
