Count von Count is about to get acquainted with some other vampires on "Sesame Street."
On the same day the normally uncontroversial kids show announced that it was spiking an appearance by pop star Katy Perry due to her risque wardrobe, a newly leaked clip sends up one of TV's most violent and sex-filled shows, "True Blood," reports the New York Daily News.
The skit, winkingly called "True Mud," opens with a theme song that echoes the one on HBO's hit drama. It then cuts to an orange muppet with hair similar to vampire Bill Compton's, who enters a diner and asks the waitress, a Sookie knock off with blonde hair, for some "True Mud."

"He must be one of them grouches! Grouches love mud!" assorted patrons in the bar scream out, mocking the townies in the first season of "True Blood" who took offense to a vampire strolling into a human bar.
The educational element of the skit then presents itself. The muppet Sookie accidentally brings out something called "True Spud", giving viewers a lesson in rhyming. The vampire muppet eventually goes and jumps into a lake of mud.
The Perry skit hit the internet earlier this week and immediately caused an uproar because of the "California Gurls" attire during a duet with Elmo to "Hot N Cold." In the clip, which has over one million YouTube views, Perry wears a low-cut green dress that barely covers her chest. The show's producers were forced to issue a statement over the matter.
"In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers," the statement read.
"Katy Perry fans will still be able to view the video on You Tube," it continued.
