More than 30 Hurt in Bus, Train Collision in Los Angeles

More than 30 passengers were hurt Monday when a bus and a train collided in downtown Los Angeles, NBC 4 Los Angeles reported. The Metro bus collided with the blue line train at about 7 a.m. at San Pedro Street and Washington Boulevard south of downtown, then crashed into at least two light poles, according to the LA Fire Department. At least 40 people were on board the bus, NBC 4 Los Angeles reported, and medical personnel were attending to as many as eight people who were traveling on the train toward Long Beach. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, according to fire-rescue officials. The injured were in good to fair condition, according to the LAFD.
