Authorities are reporting that 44 people have died after a passenger plane on a domestic flight in Laos crashed into the Mekong River, according to The Associated Press. The Laos Airlines plane crashed at around 4 p.m. local time near Pakse, which is on the borders of both Thailand and Cambodia, Reuters reported.
