Wilmington police identified the man who was shot and killed while riding in a car.
Police announced late Sunday that 28-year-old Sean Dale of E 25th Street in Wilmington, Del. was shot Saturday evening. Police say Dale was found inside a car that had crashed at the intersection of West 28th and Carter streets. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Police say according to their preliminary investigation, Dale was a passenger in the car when it was shot at. It continued northbound on Carter Street after the shooting before it crashed.
Police say detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
