Crews are working to repair a 12-inch water main break in University City that shut down several streets and left residents without water overnight.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Market Street between 42nd and 43rd streets.
Officials say residents will not have water until the end of the day.
PECO and PGW are also at the scene to secure gas and electricity lines.
A 36-inch water main broke in Old City at the intersection of 3rd and Walnut streets on Saturday. Repairs are expected to last for several weeks, according to officials.
