Caught on Cam: Stabbing Outside U-Haul

Police hope someone recognizes man investigators say stabbed another man repeatedly

Philadelphia Police released surveillance video Friday of a man who they say stabbed another man outside a Northeast Philadelphia U-Haul location earlier this month.

Cops hope that someone recognizes the suspect caught on camera.

The incident happened March 2 on the 7700 block of Roosevelt Boulevard, according to police.

Investigators say two men got in an argument inside the store. As the suspect walked outside the argument escalated into a brawl and one man took out a knife, police said.

The man, described as a black male, 6-feet-3, with an African accent, stabbed the victim repeatedly in the head, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in a tan or gold sedan -- possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information on this incident or who recognizes the suspect should contact Philadelphia Police at 215.686.8477 or contact the Northeast Detective Division at Northeast Detective Division 215-686-3153.
