Teenager Pleads Guilty in Fatal Camden Shooting

Prosecutors say a southern New Jersey teenager has pleaded guilty in a fatal shooting.

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo says 17-year-old McQuan Walker of Camden pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated manslaughter. The plea came about two months after the case was moved to adult court.

Walker was 16 when he shot 25-year-old Camden resident Antonio Barge several times on a city street in February 2013. Authorities say the two men had argued shortly before the shooting occurred, but further details on the dispute were not disclosed.

Prosecutors say they will seek a 10-year prison term for Walker when he's sentenced Aug. 15.
