The News Journal reports this was the second Code for Good Challenge. It's part of a program created by J.P. Morgan Chase that connects nonprofits with college students who have programming skills.

One project's goal was to create a new website for the Milford Housing Development Authority to overhaul how clients apply for assistance.

The group provides free emergency repairs to homes and helps low-income families build houses. The students' challenge was to create a streamlined application process online.

Students say they get real-world experience and have fun at the same time. University of Delaware student Michael Bailey says it's a good way to apply skills.
