The Tacony mom accused of killing her 18-month-old twins has a preliminary hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Stacey Newkirk-Smalls is charged with two counts of murder after she allegedly drowned and strangled two of her children in May. She's also facing charges for allegedly attempting to poison her 4-year-old daughter before she tried to slit her own wrists.
Newkirk-Smalls' husband Ron came home from work that day to find his babies, Adam and Eve, dead.
Police say the suspect left four notes explaining she hurt the children because she was upset after discovering her husband was allegedly having an affair with Stacy's daughter from a previous relationship.
Newkirk-Smalls has been in custody since the incident.
