Students at an eastern Pennsylvania state university say they're marking Election Day by marching five miles to cast their votes and protest the closing of an on-campus polling place.
Student government President Joseph Scoboria says he expects Kutztown University faculty and administrators to join Tuesday's trek to the Maxatawny Township municipal building.
The Reading Eagle reports Berks County election officials closed the campus polling place last year after local residents complained about long lines and crowded parking lots.
Scoboria says removing the campus polling place is a great inconvenience for students without cars.
He says student government is providing buses to the polls for students who don't march.
Kutztown serves about 10,000 students.
