Gunfire struck a 38-year-old woman as she slept in her Delaware home, said police.
New Castle County Police Officer First Class JP Piser said the shooting occurred early Sunday along Flamingo Drive in the Sparrow Run community.
Responding officers provided first-aid on the scene and medics took the unidentified victim to the hospital. Police said she is expected to fully recover.
Investigators said bullets had also struck multiple homes and vehicles nearby. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities offered a reward of up to $20,000 for information regarding the shooting. Tipsters can call New Castle County Police at 302-573-2800 or online.
