A man is in critical condition after he was shot at a playground in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened about midnight at the Lonnie Young Recreation Center on E. Chelten Avenue in the city’s Germantown section.
Investigators say a maintenance worker saw the male sitting on a bench inside the playground and later heard a gunshot.
The worker found the male shot in the back.
He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
The gunman remains on the loose.
The shooting remains under investigation.
