Shake Shack, New York Grilled Cheese Restaurant Open at KoP Mall

Two more restaurants are ready to serve hungry shoppers at the King of Prussia Mall.

Melt Shop, a New York-based grilled cheese concept specializing in comfort food, including sandwiches, salads and shakes, on Wednesday opened its first outpost in the state at the King of Prussia Mall.

Shake Shack β€” which has an outpost outside of the mall β€” will open its fourth Philadelphia-area location on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The two restaurants will be located at β€œSavor King of Prussia," a high-end food court with seven fast-casual restaurants, including Chef Kevin Sbraga's The Fat Ham and Washington, D.C.-based sweetgreen (which is open).

The Simon Property-owned (NYSE: SPG) mall this month completed and opened its 155,000-square-foot expansion project connecting the Court with the Plaza, creating one mall.
