Rita’s Italian ice stores across the city celebrated the first day of spring with the 24th annual Free Italian Ice Giveaway. Philadelphia stores gave away free Italian ice in limited edition “First Day of Spring” cups to all guests who visit Sunday.
If you can brave the cold, get to your neighborhood Rita’s today: The water ice shop is giving out free treats starting at noon to celebrate the first day of spring.
