Riders Beware: Needles Found in SEPTA Station

SEPTA is telling train riders to be extra careful after some potentially dangerous hypodermic-needles were found in a station.

Late last week, a SEPTA worker found two uncapped needles taped beneath the stairway railing of the Somerset station in Kensington.

No one was hurt, but police are investigating.

SEPTA officials don't know why the needles were there, but they speculate that perhaps a drug-addict was trying to hide them.
