Police: Woman Text-Stalked by Ex

An ex-boyfriend obsessively stalked a woman with threatening texts and voicemails.

In a case of bad behavior by the ex, police nabbed a Philly man for allegedly text-stalking his former girlfriend.

"This guy is nuts," Upper Darby Police Superintendent Mike Chitwood told the Daily News.

Brian K. Moore left his ex-girlfriend (and the mother of his 18-month old twins) thousands of alarming and threatening text messages and voicemails over a 12-day period, according to police.

"MURDER SUICIDE THATS THE THING NOW ADAYS THIS THE WAY THAT I HAVE CHOOSE 4 US 2 DIE," Moore texted, according to court documents. "[We] WILL LEAVE THIS WORLD TOGETHER THATS MY WORD ON DA TWINS I CANT C."

Other texts include: "u n I have a date wit destiny real soon,"  "Im takin u wit me," and "U n da face and me n da head."

The victim, who lives in Upper Darby, told police Moore also followed her during the day and did things like call to tell her what she was wearing, or showed up at places he knew she frequented, like the train stop.

Moore's own mother didn't even defend him when police came knocking on her door.

"Mom said, 'He isn't here, he hasn't been here and he should be in jail,' " Chitwood told the paper. "She told us he was a violent guy."

Moore, 39, was charged with harassment, stalking, terroristic threats and violating a protection-from-abuse order.

"This was a tragedy waiting to happen," said Chitwood.
