The expression "one man’s trash is another man’s treasure" took a literal turn in Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
It was about 2 a.m. when the owner of Chester Pizza at 55th Street and Chester Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia was taking out the trash to the curb.
While doing so, police say he approached by a man armed with a gun.
The suspect, assuming they were full of cash, took the trash bags and ran away.
The owner was not injured.
