Philadelphia Police Urge Caution After Receiving Reports of Groping in West Philly

Philadelphia Police are urging caution after receiving 4 different reports of sexual assault happening on Saturday night.

Philadelphia Police are warning people in parts of West Philadelphia near the University of Pennsylvania to be aware of their surroundings after four people said they were groped.

The four reports were from the areas of 3700, 3800 Spruce Street and 300 University Drive, police said.

They all occurred Saturday between shortly before 6 p.m. and just after 9 p.m., according to University of Pennsylvania police records.

It is unknown if the incidents are related, police said. Police are investigating.
