Police Shoot Suspect

Officer hurt during struggle with suspect

Philly police shot a man twice Tuesday morning, once in each arm. Officers came out to the house in Kingsessing on a disturbance call.

One neighbor said she heard an officer yell, "Get down!" several times. Then she heard four shots and that's when police stormed the house and arrested the suspect. The shooting scene was the 18-hundred block of 57th Street.

Another officer was hurt during a struggle with the suspect, police said.

The suspect and injured officer were both taken to HUP. They're both in stable condition. The officer's expected to be released before noon.
