Another local tourism agency has turned to the popularity of "Pokemon Go" as a means to drive engagement with people.
Visit Philadelphia has held three scavenger hunt-style social media events on its Snapchat account in order to engage with people and highlight attractions in Philadelphia. Past stories were held at Independence Beer Garden, Dilworth Park and the Allen Iverson Block Party held last week.
For its next scavenger hunt, happening Thursday, the destination marketing organization put a Pokemon spin on it, complete with scattering so-called Pokemon "lures" throughout historic Old City.
