Police said a man was shot in the back in a drive-by shooting in Bayonne, New Jersey.
It happened Sunday just after 5 p.m. at 16th Street Park. Police Lt. Franco Amato told The Jersey Journal the 18-year-old was sitting on a bench when the driver of an SUV fired at least three shots. One of the bullets struck the man in the upper right side of his back.
Amato said the man was in stable condition at a hospital.
Amato said police interviewed seven people who witnessed the shooting.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
