Pennsylvania Teen Kills Fellow Teen, Shoots Dad & Turns Gun on Self: Police

Police say a family argument ended with a 19-year-old man wounding his father and killing a teen before also fatally shooting himself in western Pennsylvania.

The Allegheny County medical examiner says 15-year-old Taevon Harris was fatally shot and Homestead police say it was 19-year-old Ryzel Barrett who shot him. Police say Barrett argued with his father and also wounded that man before shooting himself fatally.

Police Chief Jeffrey DeSimone is describing the incident as a "family squabble" that got out of hand shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

It was not immediately clear whether Harris and Barrett were related, or what the argument was about.

Police haven't released the name of Barrett's father. He was taken to a hospital, but his condition wasn't immediately known.

Autopsies were scheduled later Monday.
