Two people died and one was injured during a multi-car crash in New Jersey Wednesday night, police said.
The crash happened about 10:20 p.m. on Rt. 545 approximately ΒΌ mile south of Clifton Mill Drive in Bordentown Township.
The Bordentown Township Police Department says a Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on Rt. 545 when the vehicle lost control and entered the southbound lane.
The Hyundai then crashed into a 2003 Toyota Tundra.
Police said the driver of the Elantra -- 23-year-old Jocelyn Redding -- and her passenger -- 26-year-old Nicholas Cooper -- were killed in the crash.
The driver of the Tundra, a 72-year-old man, was not seriously injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
