Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman inside her apartment in Newark, Delaware, and stealing her vehicle.
The 33-year-old woman told police she was inside the Hunters Crossing Apartments on Fairway Road Sunday around 5:30 a.m. when an unidentified man armed with a weapon forced his way inside her home.
The man then allegedly sexually assaulted the woman and stole her car keys before fleeing in her vehicle.
The suspect is described as a heavyset, dark skinned black male standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet.
The victim's stolen vehicle is described as a silver 2013 Honda CRV with the Pennsylvania license plate #KPP0923.
