A western Pennsylvania man will spend five to 10 years in prison for trying to rob a pharmacy -- at its drive-thru window.
The (DuBois) Courier Express reports 28-year-old David Bracken Jr., of Curwensville, has been sentenced by a Clearfield County judge after pleading guilty to robbery and making terroristic threats.
Police say Bracken rode up to the City Drug Store drive-thru in Curwensville on Sept. 30, wearing a skeleton costume.
Bracken's appearance spooked an employee who asked the pharmacist to wait on him. Asked if he was pulling a prank, Bracken instead drew a gun and yelled "Give me your Benzo's and pain pills'' -- referring to a certain type of tranquilizer.
Instead, the pharmacist locked down the business and had employees call 911 as Bracken drove off.
