A man is dead after being hit by a minivan as he walked along a Chestnut Hill road, Philadelphia police said.
The 39-year-old man was hit by a Honda Odessy just after 7 p.m. Friday along the 8800 block of Stenton Avenue, police said. He died at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene, police said.
