A deadly accident involving a pedestrian closed all southbound lanes of I-95 in Bucks County for more than four hours Saturday.
The deadly incident happened about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes near the Street Road exit.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car. It was not immediately known why the pedestrian was on the road.
The driver stopped at the scene, police said.
As a result of the investigation, all southbound lanes were closed between Street Road and Woodhaven Road for several hours. They re-opened about 8 a.m.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
