A local Asian restaurant chain known for its oversized sushi rolls is on a ... well, roll. Not only will the company be opening its third Philadelphia location, but it also plans on introducing two new restaurant concepts.
Hai Street Kitchen & Co. began two years ago and has since opened restaurants in Center City and University City. It will now be opening a third location at The Shops at Liberty Place, with a spring opening timeframe. The Liberty Place location will be the fourth location in the Philadelphia region overall for the chain; it also has a location at the King of Prussia Mall in the works.
It will join other eateries – like Shake Shack, and New York's Nicoletta Pizzeria and Melt Shop – within the 155,000-square-foot expansion project that connects the Court with the Plaza. The restaurants are slated to open this summer.
