Officers Arrest Gunman Who Shot 2: Police

Police took an alleged gunman into custody Wednesday night after a shooting that left two men recovering.

An unidentified gunman opened fire on a 28-year-old man and a 38-year-old man along the 4500 block of Gratz Street in Philadelphia around 11 p.m.

The 28-year-old man was struck in arm and leg while the 38-year-old man was grazed in the head. Both men remained in stable condition Thursday morning.

Police from the 35th District were patrolling the area when they heard the shots fired and saw the two men. As they were being helped, the men pointed to the shooter who was running away from the scene, according to investigators.

Police were able to apprehend and arrest the yet-to-be-identified suspect.

Police found seven shell casings at the scene of the shooting, according to investigators.
