A Little Jersey in Jerusalem

NJ Gov. Chris Christie says he brought a little Jersey to Jerusalem this week in hopes of drumming up business and jobs back home

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he brought a little Jersey to Jerusalem this week in hopes of drumming up business and jobs back home.

The Republican says he's confident talks with Israeli business and political leaders will pay off for New Jersey. He summarized his experiences during a conference call with reporters on Wednesday, his third day in Israel.

Christie toured a drug company interested in expanding in New Jersey, then signed a letter of cooperation with Teva Pharmaceuticals' CEO to continue the talks. He also visited an electric car maker in Jerusalem, whose No. 2 executive lives half-time in New Jersey.

Christie and his family head to Jordan on Thursday to meet with King Abdullah II. The Christies are due back in the United States on Sunday.
