A surprise visitor flew right in front of City Hall to promote the DVD release of season 5 of the hit HBO show “Game of Thrones."
Dilworth Plaza was a landing spot for one of Daenerys Targaryen’s three dragons on Wednesday. The scene included dug-up concrete, skid marks, and dragon footprints.
Wednesday night the dragon took "flight" via a special 3D animation projection on 13th and Market streets as residents looked on.
The celebration followed recent “dragon landings” in New York and Los Angeles, and will conclude in San Francisco on Thursday.
