A jury will hear opening arguments in the Fort Dix terror trial this morning.
Five foreign-born Muslim men, all in their 20's, are accused of plotting an attack on the base.
They spent much of their lives in South Jersey and were arrested last year.
In the spring of 2007, the FBI says it taped the men as they allegedly plotted to kill soldiers at the base.
The reason Fort Dix was a target is that it's used as a training ground for troops headed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
The men’s defense attorneys said the only thing their clients were guilty of was "big talk", not a plot to kill anyone.
