A man was caught on video using an electronic device to unlock a car and steal from the vehicle in the Fishtown section of the city, police said.
The suspect used the device to open the vehicle on the 1200 block of East Oxford Avenue Christmas Eve at 10:39 p.m., according to investigators. Once inside he allegedly stole $60, lottery tickets and a phone charger before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with a mustache wearing a baseball cap, light colored shirt, jeans and dark-colored sneakers. If you have any information on his whereabouts please call 911 immediately.
